Project Overview
Oneida provides instructional support and program management services to the U.S. Naval Community College (USNCC) in support of the Navy’s Education for Seapower initiative. Under this effort, Oneida delivers qualified instructors and academic professionals to support the full suite of Naval Studies courses, helping Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen pursue college-level education while serving on active duty. The program advances warfighting readiness by providing naval-relevant education that develops critical thinking, leadership, ethics, history, strategy, and geopolitical knowledge across the enlisted force.
Oneida supports the delivery of the five-course Naval Studies Certificate curriculum, including NAV101 Naval Ethics and Leadership, NAV102 Modern Naval History, NAV103 Naval Force Design, NAV104 U.S. National Defense Establishment and Civil-Military Organization, and NAV105 Introduction to Geopolitics. Courses are delivered through asynchronous online learning environments using Blackboard and other learning-management tools. In addition to instructional delivery, Oneida provides project management, quality control, reporting, staffing, onboarding, and administrative support to ensure consistent academic quality and contractual compliance.
The program has expanded significantly since award. Oneida has successfully scaled instructional staffing to meet increasing enrollment demand while maintaining continuity of instruction and high levels of academic performance. Through disciplined management, qualified personnel, and responsive customer support, Oneida helps USNCC deliver accessible, mission-focused education to students serving throughout the global naval force.
