Logistics Base Contracts for Natural Resource Survey and Studies

JACKSONVILLE, FL/ LG2 Environmental Solutions updated and revised the Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) and for Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany and performed a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Environmental Assessment (EA) of the INRMP revision.

A public comment process was facilitated for the documents and LG2 assisted with follow-up consultation with various stakeholders and agencies, including the Georgia Historic Preservation Division, which is Georgia’s state historic preservation office, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Georgia Department of Community Affairs, and various Indian tribes associated with MCLB Albany.

Highlight

  • The work resulted in completion of a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the implementation of INRMP revisions on MCLB Albany.
