OTIE Attends Groundbreaking Ceremony

Realizing design sub-contract for Phillip A Levy Engineering Center

MILWAUKEE, WI / A Groundbreaking Ceremony was held on Thursday, April 17th to mark the beginning of a new engineering center on the UW-Madison campus in Madison, WI. Richard Koenig, Senior Plumbing Engineer, with OTIE, attended the event to celebrate with colleagues working on the project.

The proposed 395,000 square-foot multidisciplinary building will feature shared laboratories to support engineering disciplines across the campus, providing space to unite engineering faculty and students within one building center.

As a contributor to this project, Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises (OTIE) has completed the Fire Protection Design for the newly designed state-of-the-art facility. The initial contract was awarded in September 2022 and construction on the building is expected to be completed in 2028.

OTIE is sub-contractor to the Architect of Record, Continuum Architects + Planners, S.C. in association with SmithGroup & Ring & DuChateau, LLP.
