SAME San Antonio hosts STEM paper airplane contest for high school students

MILWAUKEE, WI / The SAME San Antonio Post hosted a terrific STEM Education Event during 2024 Great Texas Airshow at Joint Base San Antonio Randolph on Friday, April 5th. Several hundred high school students from the region visited the Airshow, and it was inspiring to see their innovation take flight during our Post’s paper airplane competition.

Scott Mikos, Post K-12/STEM Coordinator, lead several Post STEM Volunteers, including Post President Rene Cortez of Oneida ESC Group. Rene says, “The San Antonio Post took great pride in being a part of The Great Texas Airshow. Many thanks to Scott and fellow Post volunteers for inspiring young talent to join our amazing AEC Industry in support of the warfighter.”
