Providing Instruction at Naval Postgraduate School (NPS)
MONTEREY, CA / The Graduate Learning Center outlined an opportunity to support students in a wide variety of disciplines at NPS. Writing coaches were required to design and lead hands-on workshops for both in-residence and distance-learning students to enhance critical thinking skills and improve writing mechanics through the Graduate Writing Center and Thesis Processing Office.
Our CPM stays engaged with the COR and Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) in the delivery of services to the government. Services provided are rated in surveys as highly relevant in support to the NPS mission in provide defense-focused graduate education, including classified studies and interdisciplinary research, to advance the operational effectiveness, technological leadership, and warfighting advantage of the Naval service. The CPM proactive approach solved issues before becoming a contract limiting factor. Faced with the on and off transition from remote work back to onsite due to changes in COVID conditions, the CPM coordinated with the COR and base officials to ensure a safe working environment.
