1822 Develops Affordable Housing
ONEIDA, WI / 1822 Land and Development Company, of Oneida ESC Group, celebrates the beginning of the Red Willow Flats Project. The new construction consists of a 35-unit rental community in Oneida, WI, and will provide safe, affordable, and accessible housing. General contractor, Mission Support Services, of Oneida ESC Group, coordinates with Oneida tribal member subcontracting companies to meet the business model – keeping project development dollars in the community.
Within the development are 24 apartment-style units in one building and 11 multi-family townhouse style units in a second building. As part of the community, seven of the units are for supportive and veteran housing and seven are market rate units. The multi-million-dollar project is funded through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).
