SRS and Battelle Memorial Institute are in an SBA-approved mentor-protégé program. As Battelle’s protégé, SRS plans to expand our capabilities and increase our potential for business success for environmental services. Created in 2013, SRS has grown and developed primarily through contracts for environmental remediation.
Battelle provides environmental technology expertise and world-class analytical services to remediate complex sites—expertise aligned with SRS’s technical and management development goals. They will support SRS to navigate federal contract bidding, acquisition, and performance processes and with business development, including strategy and identifying contracting and partnership opportunities.
Through the MPP, which has a term of three years with opportunity for extensions, SRS looks forward to expanding our applied science capability for advanced environmental remediation technologies, with an emphasis on innovative site characterization and remediation technologies, especially applied to emerging contaminants.
