Building 3200 Renovations at Naval Station Great Lakes

Building 3200, a 60,000 SF facility, was constructed nearly 60 years ago, and many of the interior spaces are obsolete or inefficient to support the mission. This project provides much needed repairs, upgrades, and space reconfigurations to accept the standup of Civil Affairs Group and Marine Air Control Group at NSGL.

As a subcontractor under a design/build contract, SRS installed interior door frames, doors, and hardware and restroom hardware throughout the building following the reconfiguration of major portions of the interior spaces on three floors. The project was constructed in five phases and remained occupied by the Marines throughout all phases.

The project follows LEED Gold standards and Federal Energy Acts compliance criteria for design, development, and construction.
