OTIE welcomes Richard Koenig, PE, to our existing team of mechanical and plumbing engineers in our Milwaukee office. With him on the team, we expand our ability to serve our customers with additional plumbing and fire protection expertise.
Richard has 24 years of engineering experience, in addition to more than 10 years in the plumbing construction trade. As a Senior Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer, he will be responsible for the design of plumbing systems such as sanitary waste and vent, ProVent systems, Sovent® waste and vent systems, medical laboratory waste systems, domestic hot and cold, reverse osmosis (RO) and deionized (DI) water systems, and medical and laboratory gas systems. His fire protection experience involves scope narrative systems to design and calculate hydraulic fire protection systems for wet, dry, pre-action, gaseous system, and high expansion foam systems.
Richard is a professional engineer licensed in Wisconsin, Florida, Missouri, Nevada, and New York.
