MS2 replaced the existing South Vandenberg AFB waterline with new 12” HDPE pipeline between B Tank and C Tank (approx. 2.5 miles). This included the installation of vacuum and release valves, check valves, pressure reducing valves, fire hydrants, blow-offs, pre-cast concrete vaults with traffic rated hatch openings. Traffic control and asphalt patching for all trenching performed in existing roadways. Other work included recoating of the existing interior coating at C tank; removal and replacement of the roof access hatch on C tank with fall protection system; and removal and replacement of all above grade piping at B and C tanks.
