Description: Renovation and expansion of the active Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Above all, GMC followed a Level IV Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) with rigorous control of dust and strict isolation of the existing HVAC system. Next we installed vestibules and negative air exhaust with HEPA filters to maintain negative pressures. Then, GMC performed demolition and installed new electrical, HVAC, medical gases, headwalls, equipment, plumbing and all new finishes.
